First Authentic Indonesian Restaurant in Columbus OH. Rich flavors, Bold and Unforgettable ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ

Located at 3512 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43235, Waroeng Buckeye Hibachi operates as an indonesian restaurant serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Columbus, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Ohio run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ€“9 pm. It is closed on Monday. We had a wonderful dining experience at this Indonesian restaurant! Everything we tried was flavorful and delicious. The fried fish appetizer with egg filling๏ผŒsauce was unique and very tasty. The duck served with steamed rice and a small mango side dish was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly together. We also enjoyed the refreshing Es Teler with coconut milk for dessert. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed trying these Indonesian dishes and would definitely come back again!

This new Indonesian restaurant got phenomenal food. I am not sure if I have real Indonesian food before. Their food could be my first time. We ordered a chicken porridge and a fried ramen. Both tasted impressive but might be too salty and spicy for us. It would be perfect if the food tasted not too strong. I liked the chicken porridge more than the noodles. The fried ramen was a little dry. The rice made the taste mild for our porridge. There were also more various Indonesian entrees, snacks, and beverages in the menu. The room was lovely. Service was friendly and fast. WiFi was not provided.

So happy to have Indonesian food available in Central Ohio. Enjoyed everything and had great service. I particularly loved the gado gado, which had a perfectly balanced sauce and great textural variety, but everything was great. The ayam bakar reminded my husband of childhood and the sambal was great. I would reorder anything we had today, but there are too many other things I want to try first before I revisit any dishes. As we watched other diners get their meals, we noted more things to try next time. Popped in after a little shopping in the plaza to grab a sweet treat for the road. I had a shaken affogato and my husband had a Jakarta frappe. Both stunners. I want to try all the drinks, because so many sounded interesting. Try it out - it's a great place with friendly service and lots of lovingly prepared foods. If you're new to Indonesian food, our server offered to share recommendations or you can order with your heart. I don't think you can make the wrong choice, unless that choice is choosing not to check this place out.

I havenโ€™t had too much Indonesian food but this was absolutely amazing. Apologies since I didnโ€™t take a pic of the menu so I donโ€™t remember the names of the dishes we had. We came in not too hungry but we ended up finishing an order of corn fritters, a grilled chicken dish that had a side of soup, another dish that had rendang with a kale side and a fried hard boiled egg, and also a desert of toast that had chocolate and condensed milk. There were so many flavors Iโ€™ve never tasted and they were all SO GOOD. Thanks to our server Naomi who was patient about all of our questions and had great recommendations.

Went for dinner with friends and basically ordered half the menu โ€” Bakwan, kwetiau, buntut bakar, tempe goreng, Roti bakar, pisang bakar, batagor, etc. Everything was delicious, the place is super clean, and service was fast. Weโ€™re definitely coming back.
